Inspection body for motor vehicles started its activities in the same period when the education program for motor vehicles in The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering began, in the early 70’s.
Beside the practical work in the courses of vehicles’ area, from the very beginning there have been different researches and tests of separate characteristics of vehicles for the needs of the automotive industry in the former Yugoslav Federation. There have been many realized projects with collaboration of important companies in the former Yugoslav Federation:
At the same time, the faculty has started cooperating with numerous well-known European and international manufacturers of vehicles such as: Daimler AG, MAN, VOLVO, Iveco, Johnson Controls and others.
