Education

The education is conducted through the courses of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

Scientific Research

The research is conducted with constant involvement with scientific papers in symposiums, conferences, journals in the area of motor vehicles, as well as in the realization of many domestic and international projects.

Applied Research

• Design of systems, components, independent technical units and vehicles
• Tests of separate systems, components, independent technical units and vehicles in and out of the regulated area
• Development of virtual models (with use of the Finite Element Method, automatic dynamical analysis of mechanical systems, dynamics of fluids) for the needs of development and optimization of separate systems, components, independent technical units and vehicles.
• Design of systems for exploitation and maintenance of vehicles
• Expertise and expert witnessing
• Design of components and products

Training

The training activities are conducted in the training center that organizes and realizes lectures, practical exercises, tests and exams. For the needs of the training, the center prepares informative and educational material. The training activities are mainly focused on:

• Design and functioning of vehicles, their systems, components and independent technical units;
• The regulations in the vehicle area and safety in traffic (domestic and international);
• Procedures for testing different characteristics of vehicles, their systems, components and independent technical units;
• Acquisition of expert knowledge for persons who executes the exploitation and the maintenance of vehicles;
• Acquisition of knowledge and skills for using the modern engineering tools for development, constructions and design of separate products;
• Other.
